Kings and Queens of the Court Skills and Development Camp

If your son or daughter's goal is to work towards earning a scholarship to play basketball at the collegiate level, she will benefit immensely by attending the Kings and Queens of the Court Skills and Development Camp October 25-26, 2014 at Curtis High School in University Place, Washington.

This Jordon Michael Sportsmarketing event is a two day experience designed to help student athletes in grades 6- 12 learn valuable tools that will assist them in being successful on and off the basketball court. Each day the on court experience will be led by Chris Hyppa and the staff of Chris Hyppa Basketball. Chris currently trains Avery Bradley of the Boston Celtics, Abdul Gaddy, former University of Washington standout, former Gonzaga Bulldog Steven Gray, WNBA players Courtney Vandersloot of the Chicago Sky, Alex Montgomery of the New York Liberty, and Lindsay Moore of the Minnesota Lynx, just to name a few. Coach Hyppa and his staff take great pride in individual skill development and conditioning. His workouts aren't designed to create a drill robot but are crafted to get players to play instinctively. Not only will your daughter be challenged physically, this training will take her mind to new places and prepare each student athlete for success in their upcoming season and beyond.

In addition, all participants of the Queens of the Court Skills and Development Camp will attend breakout sessions on the Five Things to Know about Recruiting and What Are the Recruiting and Contact Periods and Rules. Learn how to create your Recruiting Game Plan, What Does It Take to Play at the Next Level, What is my Plan B, The Typical Life of a College Athlete on Scholarship, How do I Know When I'm Being Seriously Recruited and hear about Financial Aid. Your daughter will also receive presentations from former women's college basketball players and current WNBA players on their respective roads to success on and off the court. Listen as they share valuable knowledge and tips that may help your daughter along her journey.

Want more? We are also providing breakout sessions for parents who want to be better informed about how to assist their student athlete through this somewhat difficult process.
